Stratford Enterprise Centre

The enterprise centre is the business training arm of Stratford-upon-Avon college. Although it has an in-house marketing department, from time to time it needs tightly focused PR support to handle areas beyond the remit or capacity of its own team. In these cases it knows it can rely on Splash pr to step into the breach and handle a discrete project from inception to completion.

In one scenario the centre won European Regional Development Fund and Advantage West Midlands funding to run a programme in partnership with the Stratford e-Tourism Centre aimed at promoting e-learning to businesses across the district. The programme would help boost the profits of individual companies and thus the area’s economy.

Although the Enterprise Centre had the resources to roll out a PR and marketing plan it needed a PR expert to plan a step by step communications campaign which would then be implemented by its in house staff.

Splash pr researched what the initiative would involve, looked at the timescales and funding available, the organisations likely to benefit from the programme and drew up a detailed communications strategy. Additionally it offered full back up support when needed.
